Polynucleotides

From £190 per session

They provide the "building blocks" (nucleotides) that your skin needs to repair its own DNA. They tell your cells (fibroblasts) to wake up and produce more collagen and elastin.

Additional information

What exactly are Polynucleotides?

They are injectable fragments of purified DNA, typically derived from salmon or trout. When injected, they act as "bio-stimulators" that signal your skin cells (fibroblasts) to work more efficiently, producing more collagen and elastin while reducing inflammation.

re they the same as Skin Boosters?

Skin Boosters are made of Hyaluronic Acid and focus on immediate hydration and surface glow. Polynucleotides focus on cellular repair and thickening the skin. They are better for long-term health, scarring, and dark circles.

Why are they so popular for the under-eye area?

This is their "hero" use. The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the body. PN thickens this skin and improves blood flow, which naturally reduces dark circles and "crepiness" without the risk of the "puffy" or "blue" look sometimes caused by under-eye fillers.

How many sessions do I need?

For significant regeneration, a course of 3 sessions is the gold standard, spaced roughly 2 to 4 weeks apart. You will need a single maintenance session every 6 to 9 months to sustain the results.

When will I see the results?

Because PN works at a cellular level, it is not instant. Weeks 2–3: Initial boost in hydration and brightness. Week 8: Peak results for skin tightening and texture improvement (after your second or third session).

Is it safe if I have allergies?

PN is highly biocompatible and very safe for most people. However, because it is derived from fish DNA, it is strictly contraindicated for anyone with a severe fish or seafood allergy. It is also not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

What is the downtime?

Most people experience small, localized bumps (papules) at the injection sites. These typically vanish within 6 to 24 hours on the face, though they can persist for up to 48 hours in the thin skin under the eyes. Minor bruising is also possible.

Can it help with acne scars and rosacea?

Yes. PN has powerful anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. It is frequently used to calm rosacea redness and to "plump up" pitted acne scars by regenerating the underlying tissue.

Can I combine it with other treatments?

Absolutely, a popular technique is "Bio-Stacking," where Polynucleotides are injected alongside Microneedling or Radiofrequency. The PN acts as a "fuel" that speeds up the healing process and doubles the collagen-boosting effect of the other treatments.
