Additional information

Why combine them? Does it make the tan better?

Red light increases blood circulation and oxygen levels in the skin. When your skin is well-oxygenated, the UV tanning process is more efficient, often resulting in a deeper, more natural-looking tan that develops faster.

How often can I use a 2-in-1 hybrid sunbed?

2–3 times a week is the standard recommendation for seeing the collagen-boosting benefits of the red light. However, because these beds contain UV, you must follow standard tanning safety protocols to avoid burning.

Will it help with my acne or skin conditions while I tan?

Yes. Red light is known to reduce inflammation and speed up healing for acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Many users find that hybrid beds are "kinder" to their skin and cause less post-tan irritation or dryness.

Does it feel different than a regular sunbed?

Yes. Hybrid beds often feel less "intense" or harsh on the skin. Because red light is soothing and improves moisture balance, your skin is less likely to feel tight, itchy, or "burnt" immediately after the session.

Are the results immediate?

For Tanning: You will see results in 1–3 sessions, similar to a regular sunbed. For Skin Health: You typically need 4–8 weeks of consistent use to see a reduction in fine lines or improved skin texture.

Can I use my regular tanning lotion in a hybrid bed?

It's better to use a "Hybrid" lotion. Some traditional tanning oils can block the specific wavelengths of red light. Hybrid-specific lotions are designed to be "light-permeable," allowing both the UV and Red Light to penetrate effectively.

Who should avoid hybrid tanning?

You should skip this treatment if you: Are taking photosensitizing medications (some antibiotics or acne meds like Accutane). Have a history of skin cancer. Are pregnant.
